Educational Use

AmberKingWriting.com provides writing, research, and educational tools for students, instructors, tutors, and other users.

You may use the tools for personal, educational, classroom, tutoring, and other noncommercial purposes.

Educators are welcome to link to the Site, demonstrate its tools, and direct students to use them.

Limited Permission

Subject to these Terms, AmberKingWriting.com grants users a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to access and use the Site and its tools for personal, educational, classroom, tutoring, and other noncommercial purposes.

This permission does not allow users to copy, adapt, reproduce, distribute, republish, sell, license, or use the Site's protected instructional materials, original wording, examples, graphics, or other protected expression to create another product or service without written permission.

Ownership of Site Content

Unless otherwise indicated, the original assignments, instructions, explanations, examples, prompts, graphics, instructional materials, and other human-authored content on this Site were created by Amber King.

Use of the Site does not transfer ownership of these materials to users.

The Site's programming may include code created with the assistance of generative-AI coding tools. Nothing in these Terms is intended to claim copyright protection in material that is not eligible for copyright protection under applicable law.

User Writing and Browser Storage

You retain whatever ownership rights you have in the essays, drafts, notes, research, outlines, and other writing you enter into the tools.

AmberKingWriting.com does not claim ownership of your writing.

The writing tools are designed to store your work locally in your web browser. The Site does not intentionally maintain a server-side copy of writing entered into the browser-based writing tools.

Your work may remain on the device after you leave the Site, close the browser, or return later.

If you are using a shared or public computer, use the Clear function when you are finished.

Users are responsible for downloading or otherwise saving important work. Browser-stored work may be removed because of browser settings, cleared Site data, device policies, technical problems, or other circumstances.
